Craiglist Rant
So I've been looking for local jobs, just to see what my best options are and I thought craigslist would be a good option to explore. I found quite the opposite, I submit my resume to nearly a 100 legitimate looking ads only to have my inbox spammed by scam artists who want to send me 8 million from their Nigerian accounts in exchange for my personal information and a 200 dollar money order. Listen, this is a good lesson for everyone who submits their information online, don't just send out info. to people unless you can verify that they are a reputable source. I am sure these scam artists get desperate people everyday who submit more personal information simply because they don't know any better.

Yeah, sometimes life just sucks.
ReplyDeleteThat's really too bad. I've had pretty good luck with Craigslist jobs, but there are definitely scammers out there.
ReplyDeleteLMAO, I know exactly what you mean! I had my boyfriend reply to an ad on craigslist, it was for an African gray bird.. and turns out there was two of them and they're in Brazil all of a sudden, so you have to pay them money to have them sent out, but they were in the"free" secton and also "trained" and all that... I find it hilarious the things people do!
